I was the Sniper Employment Officer for my battalion and led hundreds of combat missions. There were major security lapses in the security plan that allowed a shooter to engage President Trump from ~130 meters - an easy shot. A ? pic.twitter.com/eim0DzMRw6

Crooks attended the club’s preseason sessions, held before tryouts, but did not advance to the tryouts, the two team members said. Both described Crooks as a "bad shooter," with one noting that he wasn't a good "fit."
"He didn't just fail to make the team -- he was asked not to come back because of how bad shooter he was. It was considered dangerous," classmate Jameson Myers told ABC News.
